Very good food and friendly staff

The catfish is really good, we didn't like the boiled shrimp, but anything else was good

We held a group meeting here, and the staff did a great job tending to all of our attendees. The food was good, and this serves as a good location in Thomasville to give your group some privacy for a meeting.

there Coste, LA and their crab bisque is the best I had ever had, I will travel hundreds of miles to have it I love it

Fried shrimp, fried oysters and crab claws were all cooked well and service was really good.

It’s hard to not like this place... fried everything and very delicious at that ... I keep going back to the fried catfish and turnip greens... their dishes rival the Downtowner up in Selma.

Great food and wonderful people I'm a truck driver and finding good food isn't easy but I have to put this spot on my must return list not only was the food outstanding but let me tell you when I say they were so nice to me look please stop by and get you some of the best food and hospitality that you will find in Alabama they took great care of me and I know they will show you love as well

Casual, relaxed with very good food. Priced reasonably. Service was great- quick and even made fresh coffee at 730 pm.

I stood forever, finally the girl at the cash register points to a table. I get there and it is still dirty from the last guest. There is a lady at a table next to me has been trying to get someone's attention for over 5 mins. Customer service is not only poor, it is non-existent.

Our favorite catfish place! 2 or 3 piece catfish filets.

We were very disappointed with the food and service. The shrimp tasted like chlorine and the "Patty melt" was nothing like you would expect a Patty melt should be it was more like Salisbury steak covered in gravy!! Very disappointed!!

GREAT fish and shrimp. Also I usually hate cole slaw but this was the best I've ever had.

It's one of the best places around! Southern soul food a plenty. All you can eat coleslaw before the main course. They even put a whole pitcher of tea on the table for you. No one walks out the door unsatisfied! Awesome staff, great food, and southern atmosphere!

Friendly staff, rip off for all you can eat vs buying a dinner. Maybe they need the money, it is a pandemic..

The fish was quite large, which is great. Also, the shrimp was hot, but not too hot. The service was very friendly and polite. Privately owned restaurants like this one is why I love eating out. So this is worthy of 5 stars

Pretty good food

Hum, I went for my first time on what anyone might call the worst day ever.My friend and I ordered and the people were just so nice and kind. It was like being part of one big happy family.Only had a small problem with my second batch of food, it was too greasy and my stomach won't allow. The staff fixed it right away.They are the best in my opinion!

Food took forever and after it finally arrived to the table everything was cold except for my mother's catfish, which was actually delicious. After letting the server know my firecracker shrimp were really cold she removed it from the table, my assumption was that she would bring a fresh hot plate back. When I took a bite it tasted chewy and I noticed the lettuce on the bottom of the bowl looked wilted. When she came back I just had to ask, Did you take these and put them in the microwave and bring them back? She replied "why, are they rubbery?" I couldn't believe it...I still don't lol

Best catfish place I've been to in a while! Very confortable, roomy dinning areas. One section is a glassed in area, didn't go in there but all other areas looked very clean and well maintained and upkept. Very nice friendly staff. Good location. I could tell it had to be great because of the full parking lot on a Saturday before 12:00! Well worth the $ and stop! I was still full at dinner! Had catfish, fried oysters, fries, hush puppies and cole slaw. Cole slaw comes with meal as a salad does with a meal at most other restaurants. Huge bowl! And it is the bomb! Made fresh on site, we were told by our server! Very finely chopped. I'd compare it very closely to KFC's as far as taste goes. Highly recommend! Friend had gumbo and shrimp and grits! YUMMMM! Yes, had to taste test! Wish there were a David's in Mobile! Or is there?!? Good eats, people! Get it!! P.S. Just looked, there is a location in Spanish Ft, Milton, Fl. and one other place in south AL. Yeaaaa!!

Excellent food and service!!

I've ordered a but of everything on the menu over time. The seafood is delicious and always freshly cooked. The cole slaw and cheese grits are sure to please for sides. No doubt that you will be pleased if you choose to eat here.

Food was great best slaw I've ever eaten. Steaks were perfect.. problem was it was all but empty only two other tables. Waitress acted as if we were bothering her. Never stopped by to check drinks for over 30 minutes. Also never ask us if we wanted more fish one of us had all you can eat. Will I go back maybe order on line but won't eat in again.

The staff is very friendly and the food is amazing. Serving sizes are pretty good too!!! You get a real small town, family vibe when you walk in.

All you can eat catfish (whole, fillet and includes a popcorn shrimp option) with cheese grits, slaw, hush puppies and a pitcher of sweet tea brought to your table! Now down here in the South, when your server keeps a tea glass full, she gets top dollar tips - they started off right making sure I was taken care of and the service never stopped, so 5*'s. Fresh cooked fish, delicious cheese grits (no table seasoning required unless you would like some black pepper. Same for the slaw, a nice touch of black pepper and I was set to chow down in a friendly comfortable environment. Another 5*'s for taste and meal presentation. Their menu is decent with many options not just catfish. Simmons Mississippi, USA Farm Raised Catfish. I'll definitely stop again.

I didn't care for the build shrimp. They were bland. But everything else was delicious. And we always get omigod service. The firecracker shrimp is the best to me.

It wasn't crowded. The atmosphere was very nice. Our waiter was sweet as Gold. Our food was hot and fast. I'll give David's Thomasville 6 stars

This is one of my favorite places. We ordered the cajun catfish dinner it was sooo good! Our waitress was very nice and friendly. We will definitely be coming back.
